WELCOME
NEXT CLUB MEETING: Zoom meeting on Monday 5th June 2023 at 7.00 pm.
Topic: Transitions - Alec will present and then lead a discussion on Transitions.
Note that this is the final date for submission of entries to our Film of the Year competition.
Also note there is no meeting on May 29th.
Currently we hold real meetings in Bitton House on the second Monday of each month plus virtual meetings via Zoom on all the other Mondays. Ivan sends out an email inviting you to join virtual meetings. All meetings start at 7.00pm and we recommend that you start joining a virtual meeting a few minutes beforehand, as it may take a while to get connected.
The programme from September 2022 to June 2023 can be found under the tab 2022-23 Programme. It is reasonably firm but as always it remains subject to revision.

Welcome to the Teign Film Makers Club in the picturesque coastal town of Teignmouth, South Devon. Over the past couple of years we have steadily grown with members coming from Torbay, Exeter, Plymouth and East Devon as a result of being one of only a few amateur film-making clubs in a wide area. We all have one thing in common - we enjoy making films and improving our skills, both behind the camera and during editing.
We are a friendly welcoming club with a membership of all abilities from novices to experienced film makers. The club started in the 1960's filming on celluloid film but has moved on to embrace the new formats as they have developed. Filming now is digital, mostly recorded as High Definition video on SD cards. Members edit using Personal Computers or Apple Mac. You can see the results on state of the art equipment. In normal circumstances we hold weekly Zoom meetings on a Monday evening starting at 7pm. On every second Monday of each month face to face meetings are held at Bitton House in Teignmouth from 7.00pm until 9.30pm and enjoy a varied programme including hands-on instruction, friendly competitions, lectures, making club films together and social evenings. You are welcome whatever your ability. |
