Ahead of the new season we will remind members of the annual challenges and give some tips on how to meet them - Peter on Film That Tune, Ivan on Four Minute Films and Roger on Documentary Films
12th: Meeting in Bitton House    
The first "live" meeting of the new season - a social meeting and we will show a film from Roger Edwards (titled The Taker)

26th: Zoom call - Learning Disabilities    
A presentation from Pip - more on filming with people with Learning Disabilities

3rd: Zoom call - Transitions    
Alec will give a presentation on Transitions
10th: Meeting in Bitton House - Multi-Cameras    
Steve Moss will lead a session on Multi-Camera Filming (including demonstration)
17th: Zoom call - Still Life    
Peter will present Still Life and will set a challenge
24th: Zoom call - Guest Speaker    
Howard Smith, an award winning, narrative film maker, will share his experiences
31st: Zoom call - Focus on the 50's    
Eileen and Tony Colburn will show this documentary and will talk about their approach to multi-camera interviews using smartphones
November:  
7th: Zoom call - Challenge & Multicam results    
Watch and discuss results from Peter's Still Life challenge (set on Oct 17th) and Steve's Multicam evening (Oct 10th)
14th: Meeting in Bitton House - Club Film    
The Club Film "Unquiet Spirit" will receive its World Premiere
21st: Zoom call - Pitfalls    
Keith will talk about the pitfalls facing a wannabe writer/producer/director
28th: Zoom call - Camerawork    
Roger and Alec will give a presentation on Camerawork
December:  
5th: Zoom call - Experimental Film    
Suzie will present this topic, which has been one of the modules in her university studies
12th: Meeting in Bitton House - Travelogues    
Mike Perrem will show a couple more of his renowned travelogue films
19th: Zoom call - Quiz    
A light-hearted quiz on film topics set by Tony

At the Livermead Cliff Hotel, Torquay
9th: Live in Bitton House - Social Meeting    
Social meeting and bring one of your films to show on the big screen
16th: Zoom call - Christmas Challenge results    
Show videos made in response to Ivan's challenge for a short Christmas film (4 minutes max)
23rd: Zoom call - Guest Speaker    
Jill Bunting will talk about the similarities and differences between AV and film making. Pip recommends this presentation, which he enjoyed.
30th: Zoom call - Film Exchange    
Watch and discuss films from another club
February:  
6th: Zoom call - Club project    
Planning for the Club Summer Project
13th: Live in Bitton House - Microphones    
Geoff and Neil will present on Microphones etc
20th: Zoom call - Guest Speaker    
Alan Sinclair will give a presentation about Drones. Pip was impressed by Alan's entry in a recent competition.
27th: Zoom call - Filming    
Roger will talk about some aspect of filming
March:  
6th: Zoom call - One Minute challenge    
Watch and discuss the One Minute films produced by members in response to this challenge
13th: Live in Bitton House - Lighting    
Pip will run a practical lighting session - maybe pick a couple of scenarios then light them in different ways to create different feelings
20th: Zoom call - Film That Tune    
Show films made in response to Film That Tune challenge
27th: Zoom call - TBD    
Ivan will present a topic TBD
April:  
3rd: Live in Bitton House - Pairs of Cameras    
Bring your cameras etc and find a filming partner. Shoot an interview or conversation (or whatever) and afterwards each of a pair will edit the combined footage from both

Show films produced in response to Four Minute Film challenge
24th: Zoom call - Pairs of Cameras results
